11th Educational Leadership Conference 2012 24th February 2012 - University of Wollongong The Conference will provide participants with opportunities to engage with significant changes taking place in education nationally and internationally and to consider their practical implications for teachers and leaders at the local level. Keynote speakers and session presenters will highlight the global issues impacting on national structures in educational organisations and address the effects these issues have in institutional support, curriculum, leadership and capacity building at system levels and in schools. Conference Theme Evidence-based Leadership: Reading the Sign Posts The 2012 conference provides opportunities to examine the effects of these challenges and the importance of using evidence to guide decisions relating to governance and management structures, leadership, teaching and pedagogical practices.
